Purposes the proteomic analysis of the most explored present endothelial cell model, i.e. primocultures of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). The data on HUVEC proteomics are depicted in the 2D gels and identifications area (identification, number of accession in database, pI and MW…). This database offers the proteomic study of HUVEC using the classical approach combining two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) and mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF and LC-ESI-MS/MS) after peptide mass fingerprinting (PMF).
Provides a web-based interface for supporting authors to publish their gel electrophoresis experiments according to MIAPE guidelines. MiapeGElDB also performs syntax checks and provides a repository for consulting all public files. Documents stored in MIAPEGelDB can be used for crosslinking with a proteomic database or a LIMS, or being parsed and mined to extract information.
