[…] The pre-processing of the electrophysiological data was conducted using the EEGLAB toolbox (Delorme and Makeig, ) in the MATLAB environment. The long-term EEG of each electrode was first bandpass filtered (1–100 Hz) and then segmented into epochs from −100 ms to 400 ms around the onset. The baseline correction was conducted using a time window of −100 ms to 0 ms. Epochs that contained more than ±1 mV potential were rejected as artifacts. The remaining epochs were averaged to obtain an ERP for each electrode node and then low-pass filtered at 15 Hz.Statistical analysis was performed with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA).
