Contains annotated EST sequences and analysis tools with possibility to add sequences from public domain. CAGBASE provides over 4,500 potentially novel or fast evolving camel gene sequences that do not carry any homology to other available genomes. The aim of the database is to generate a comprehensive list of coding sequences found in camel genome irrespective of any specific phenotype. It shows all camel sequences along with corresponding genes and Gene Ontology (GO) terms found for different species.
