Performs clustering analysis and visualization of data. ACES is an application, leaning on machine learning methods, that automates the extraction of features corresponding to each identity and cluster them by exploiting various algorithms. This program provides both agglomerative hierarchical and k-means clustering and supplies three distance matrix measurement methods: (i) Manhattan distance; (ii) Euclidean distance and (iii) Pearson's correlation coefficients.
Permits guided clustering analysis. Clustrophile is an interactive tool that (i) can guide users in exploratory clustering analysis, (ii) adapts user feedback to improve user guidance, (iii) facilitates the interpretation of clusters, and (iv) reasons about differences between clusterings. The software includes a feature, the Clustering Tour, to assist users choose clustering parameters and reason about the quality of different clustering results according to user’s analysis goals and expectations.
