Combines Den1, Den2, BC, IDC, LC, DOS and subcellular localization score (SLS). CoTB uses a random forest model to obtain a probability score for the proteins being essential. The performances of the tool were tested with the jack-knife methodology. It was applied on four networks of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The tool can be used to predict essential proteins for the human protein-protein interaction (PPI) network data.
