Facilitates annotation and acquisition of information about the detoxification proteins. DetoxiProt is a database for detoxification protein researchers in the fields of physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, food security, farm chemical development and environmental pollution related research. In addition to the chemical features of the genes, the database features 3D structures, sub-cellular location, tissue expression and especially, the inducer, inhibitor and substrates of these enzymes. A customized BLAST tool is embedded for sequence similarity search.
