SuperCYP aims at providing a user-friendly platform enabling health professionals to optimize drug cocktails regarding the degree of CYP capacity utilization. The Drug search box enables the user to search for a drug and find information on its metabolism. Drug–drug interaction is the main feature of the database. It allows users to enter names of several different drugs and to check interactions between these drugs, but they also receive alternative drug options. SuperCYP indicates potentially perilous drug–drug interactions and proposes alternative drugs improving mixture or dosage.
Offers a rapid publication of new CYP alleles describing their major properties. The Human Cytochrome P450 (CYP) Allele Nomenclature website is the management of an official and unified allele designation system, as well as the provision of a database of CYP alleles and their associated effects. This standardised nomenclature system should be helpful for all scientists working in the field to speak the same language and will facilitate future research in pharmacogenetics, ecogenetics and molecular epidemiology.
A resource for the comparison of fragments found in metabolites, drugs or toxic compounds. Starting from 13,000 metabolites, 16,000 drugs and 2200 toxic compounds we generated 35,000 different building blocks (fragments), which are not only relevant to their biosynthesis and degradation but also provide important information regarding side-effects and toxicity.
