Serves as a hybrid multiobjective memetic metaheuristic for multiple sequence alignment. H4MSA also optimizes quality and consistency of the final alignment simultaneously. This algorithm is built on a shuffled frog-leaping optimization algorithm (SFLA), which is a memetic metaheuristic. It has been implemented in OpenMP with a parallelization of the evolving of each memeplex via dynamic schedule.
