Exhibits better ability in discriminating analogues than other selective seven scoring functions in a sensitive test. ID-Score is an empirical scoring function derived based on a comprehensive set of descriptors associated with protein-ligand interactions and by non-linear regression. It can be reasonably expected to have a considerable performance in cases if new compounds are excepted to bind in a very similar way to compounds in the training sets, and to be particularly effective as a re-scoring function in virtual screening.
