ChiMS / Chicago Imaging Mass Spectrometer

Serves for imaging/depth profiling mass spectrometers. ChiMS is designed for a laser-based time-of-flight mass spectrometer optimized for: (1) transferring large datasets from a digitizer to computer memory at high repetition rate; (2) saving data to hard disk at high throughput; and (3) automating data processing, imaging and depth profiling experiments. The data acquisition mode generally simulates a digital oscilloscope, but with peripheral devices integrated for control as well as advanced data sorting and processing capabilities.

MITICS / MALDI Imaging Team Imaging Computing System

Serves for matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) imaging. MITICS is composed of MITICS Image for data processing and images reconstruction and MITICS control for data acquisition. This tool is workable with all type of data whatever the instrument used for both data acquisition when necessary. It uses two different interfaces: one to load all the spectra from each run into a single database, and the second to reconstruct and display interactively the molecular images of interest.
