Provides invertebrate protein sequences from UniProt organized into families of homologous genes defined by sequence similarity. INVHOGEN offers a multiple protein alignment, a maximum likelihood based phylogenetic tree and taxonomic information about the sequences. It allows rapid selection of gene families according to various criteria. This database can be useful for comparative genomics, phylogeny or molecular evolutionary studies for invertebrates.
