PEBL / Psychology Experiment Building Language

Consists of over one-hundred computerized tests based on classic and novel cognitive neuropsychology and behavioral neurology measures. PEBL is a versatile research tool to study individual differences in neurocognitive performance. Its flexibility has clear drawbacks in that each investigator can, in theory, modify a test’s parameters to meet their own experimental needs. The tool is accessible to anyone, including psychiatrists, neurologists, or cognitive neuroscientists for research or teaching purposes is consistent with the ethos of science.


Provides a Unity toolbox for virtual reality (VR) research in the fields of experimental psychology and neuroscience. VReX aims to simplify the generation and setup of complicated VR scenes and experiments for researchers. Various study protocols about perception, attention, cognition and memory can be constructed using the toolbox. VREX includes a menu system for creating and storing experiments with different stages. Researchers can combine different rooms and environments to perform end-to-end experiments including different testing situations and data collection. For fine-tuned control VREX also comes with an editor where all the objects in the virtual room can be manually placed and adjusted in the 3D world.

NetDSS / Net Decision Support System

Supports depression care manager activities and facilitates the dissemination of collaborative care models. NetDSS is based on intervention materials used for a randomized trial of depression care management that improved clinical outcomes compared with usual care. It guides the care manager through a self-documenting patient encounter using evidence-based scripts and self-scoring instruments. The tool provides context-specific decision support in real time during encounters with patients by using scripts, self-scoring instruments, and clinical algorithms to identify new trials, treatment phases, and outcome milestones.
