A tool designed to investigate miRNA activity based on gene-expression data by using the negative regulation relationship between miRNAs and their target genes. mirAct supports multiple-class data and enables clustering analysis based on computationally determined miRNA activity.

Input data:
The mirAct web server requires as input a tab-delimited file containing information of sample classification and gene expression. Besides, several necessary options need to be specified, including species, type of gene identifiers and type of miRNA target predictions.
