Predicts and detects novel pre-microRNA. miRD finds the probability of a candidate pre-microRNA to be a real one. It also searches into deep sequencing data to select the probable pre-microRNA. This software is machine-learning tool that bases it features on support vector machines (SVMs) and boosting method. It can extract candidate pre-miRNA sequences from user submitted data.
