Mass spectrometry-targeted proteomic data analysis software tools
Proteomics aims at studying the collection of proteins of a given individual or organism. Mass-spectroscopy is an old technology that has entered the age of high-throughput and is now widely used for the analysis of proteome. In targeted proteomics, a mass-spectrometer is programmed to detect specific peptide ions derived from proteins of interest. Several software tools have been developed to help design, set-up, and analyze proteomics experiments.
