Simulates the process of transmitting X-rays through phantom objects. CTSim is a method that reconstructs the original phantom image from the projections using a variety of algorithms. Additionally, this package has a wide array of image analysis and image processing functions. CTSim uses geometrical objects to describe the object being scanned. A phantom is composed of one or more phantom elements: simple geometric shapes, specifically, rectangles, triangles, ellipses, sectors and segments.
