Constructs condition-specific pathway interaction network. PINTnet uses protein-protein interaction (PPI), closeness centrality and shortest paths. It can be used to characterize biological mechanisms at the pathway level. The tool was tested one three datasets and outperforms two existing approaches, overlapping gene-based approach (OGB) and PPI-based approach (PB), in experiments with the three data sets.
