PGC

Obsolete

Provides access to data from large-scale sequencing projects, genetic maps, and large-scale EST sequencing projects. PGC has three purposes. First, it integrates all of the genetic maps for each plant species genome with observed sequence information for that species. Second, PGC provides interfaces to NCBI databases and search, analysis, and visualization tools that are customized to support the needs of plant biology researchers. Third, PGC provides extensive hyperlinking to databases outside of NCBI for additional information about particular species.
