Permits users to analyze non-ribosomal RNA-protein complexes in the same sample or ribosomal profiling data and identifies native. Rfoot is made for identify RNA regions protected by non-ribosomal protein complexes. Especially, it searches for protected RNA regions with at least 10 sequencing reads that are highly localized and do not show 3-nt periodicity. This tool takes in consideration read distribution patterns and distinguishes between RNA protected by ribosomes.
