Assists researchers in pharmaceutical fields in conducting scaffold hopping to design novel molecules with higher potency or pharmaceutical potential. ScafBank is a Web-based database system which also implements substructure and fingerprint-based similarity searches to enable researchers to find feasible scaffolds. This resource was built by recursive scaffold analysis of the ZINC, DrugBank and MDDR databases.
