Publication for What’s The Function of these genes?

WTFgenes institution(s)
Interprets experimentally-identified lists of genes. WTFgenes uses hypergeometric and model-based approaches. It permits to know what is the function of different genes thanks to Bayesian Term Enrichment Analysis (TEA). The tool can readily be extended to allow for datasets that are structured temporally, spatially, or by genomic region; to use domain-specific biological knowledge; or to incorporate additional lines of evidence such as quantitative data.
WTFgenes funding source(s)
Supported by NHGRI grant HG004483; by Office of the Director R24-OD011883 and by the Director, Office of Science, Office of Basic Energy Sciences, of the US Department of Energy under Contract No. DE-AC02-05CH11231.
